Halloween Lush Haul ♡

I love Lush year round but particularly around autumn and winter. Their Halloween collection was released at the beginning of this month around the 3rd or 4th so I took a trip to Lush with my sister that weekend to get my hands on some of it!

On the Lush website this green guy's scent is described as "a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil" and it says that as the green outer shell is fizzing away, a silver luster swirls out followed by a red wine-colored center and popping candies. This sounds so fun and festive. I'm elated to try it out since I missed out on "Lushoween" last year. To me this smells like a creamy, herbal spice with an incense-y tone. I love the scent since it's not too strong or pungent.
Update: I used this and it was incredible! The water looked like blood and how Halloween is that!? I posted a video of it on my Instagram if you wanna see it in action.

This is one of my new favorite bubble bars. Granted, I haven't gotten to pop it in my tub yet, but it is so cute. It's so glittery and orange and it smells amazing. I prefer the way bubble bars smell over the bath bombs probably just because they're much sweeter. Sparkly Pumpkin smells rich, citrus-y, and sweet. The citrus comes from the juniperberry, grapefruit, and lime oils. Yum.

This purple bath bomb is speckled with adorable stars and has a blue and "neon green" center. I originally bought this simply because I heard that the inside was multi-colored. Online it says that the ends "crack and fizzle away" to allow the middle to the blue, neon green, and purple that slowly fizz. This is one I've used once, as you can tell by the picture, and I wasn't as impressed as I expected but I think I was supposed to use it all at once which probably would've given a better effect. Personally, the neon green looks more yellow. It smells floral, from the Jasmine, and a little spicy as well, which I assume is from ylang ylang. I don't actually know what that is, but I think I like it.

I only got three things. How well behaved am I? I am going to resist buying anything Christmas-themed until around Thanksgiving though. The Christmas Hedgehog is about the cutest thing ever. Have ya'll tried Lush?

What's in My Makeup Bag?

I see videos of this tag all over Youtube a lot and I think it's fun to see what people use enough to keep in their makeup bag! That's how I use mine at least. These products are ones that I use when I wear makeup and keep handy so I don't have to go diggin' for them.

Makeup Bag- I got this cute quilted makeup bag with black piping and a cute black bow from Forever 21 for $6.80 and I love it! I get a lot of compliments from anyone who sees it.

Face
Maybelline Dream Fresh BB in Light- this is my favorite skin product! It gives just enough color to even the skin tone but doesn't look like I'm wearing anything. I've been going makeup-less lately (woohoo Summer!) but this is used constantly the school year. I love that it's lightly moisturizing at that it feels good on my skin.
Beauty Blender- I generally use my fingers to apply my BB cream then I go in with a little more makeup on a beauty blender on my forehead and any imperfections. I need to buy a new one soon since mine is getting a little worn out.
Essence Blush in Chaising Lacy- I just did a review on this (right here!) and I love it. It's very natural but gives me some color. I haven't tried it out since getting "tan" but I'm sure it'll look lovely when I do! It's buildable so I know it will still show up well.
Elf High Definition Powder in Translucent- The combination of this and my BB seems nearly sweat proof! I was wearing this at an outside party in 90-degree weather and I felt like my face was probably shiny but it wasn't! My sister (she has a blog!) said it still looked great.
H&M Baby Kabuki Brush- I use this to apply my powder and it's awesome! I think I paid $3.95 and it's really soft and I wasn't expecting to be really good quality.

Eyes
Great Lash Clear Mascara- I use this to set my eyebrows (who are rather difficult, I must add) and I think this is my third tube. I used to use an actual "eyebrow gel" which was more expensive but I don't see much of a difference.
Wet'n'Wild Mega Liner in Black- I use this to tight line when I wear mascara and I love that it lasts all day and doesn't transfer to my bottom waterline. I'll warn ya'll that you have to let it dry before letting you let your eyelid down or it may get in your eye. Once it's dry, though, it won't go anywhere!
Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Mascara- I recently did a review (here if you want to take a look!) and it's in there since I used it just the other day. As of right now, I think it's alright right now so hopefully I can get used to it.

Lips
Luxe Reve de Miel- This is like my emergency lip balm. I use it for a pick-me-up when my lips are getting a little exhausted. It smells like sightly sugary lemon and it's wonderful!
EOS in Medicated Tangerine- I have nearly every flavor (scent?) of EOS and I think it may be my favorite. I like that it's more than just a moisturizer since it has antibacterial properties as well!
Maybelline Color Elixir in Radiant Orchid- I love this color so much. It's a relatively neutral-toned pink, but it leans towards blue. Since I have yellow toned skin I think cool colors look so vibrant. I did a review of this color and Hibiscus Haven in this review.

Hair
Lush Shine So Bright Balm- I bought this a few months ago and I'm so impressed! It was about $10 so I had pretty high hopes and they weren't let down. It smells really good and just a tiny bit goes a long way. It really gives sad hair ends a good, shiny hug.
MetaGrip Bob Pins- I usually keep this and my Shine So Bright in my purse during the school year, but they hang out in my makeup bag during the Summer. These are the best bobby pins I've ever used. They grip hair and really stay in place no matter what.

Hands
Ahava Mineral Hand Cream- I keep this at school since it's small and handy and it absorbs really fast. It also smells really fresh which is nice. I got this in my Birchbox a while ago and I'm pretty impressed.

That's all that was in there! Well, excluding a few tampons and some wet wipes. Keepin' it real, guys.
